This was our biggest project to date. The client on this project had a very specific vision: wanting a modern/log cabin/mountain chalet style home with a large and open great room. A lot of steel, engineered lumber, and a good structural engineer was needed when making such a big open space with long spans. The crane was helpful too.

The trim on this project was all cherry that came from the land when it was cleared . So after framing was complete, we set up a shop in the garage and milled the cherry down for all window and door casing, beam wraps and built in cabinets. The doors were all reclaimed doors, that we built jambs for. Years of historical millwork can pay off in new builds!
